The APR Stage 3 OEM Turbo System pairs the larger OEM Continental turbocharger from the EA888.4 LK3 engine (as found on the MK8 Golf R and Audi S3 8Y) with APR installation hardware (APR DV Conversion Kit – MS100262) and included APR Stage 3 ECU software—calibrated specifically for EA888.4 LK2 vehicles. The result is factory-like drivability and reliability with a huge jump in performance, with a Golf GTI exceeding a Golf R while retaining stock exhaust and fueling hardware.
